Terms of Use

1. Who we are

The Rolling Now AI Studio (the “Studio”) is a service of Rolling Now, operated by Mehdi Bekkar, a sole trader. You can reach us at hello@rollingnow.net.

2. The service

The Studio lets you create video, images and audio with artificial intelligence. The generation itself is carried out by a third-party AI provider (Vidu). Video generation is provided by Vidu (Shengshu Technology) via its API; Vidu is a trademark of its owner. Results can be imperfect or unexpected, and we do not promise that a result is unique, accurate or suitable for a given purpose.

3. Who may use it

The Studio is for film, photography and media professionals who hold a registered, email-verified Rolling Now account. You must be at least 18 years old, use only one account, and keep your details accurate. Do not share your account or resell access.

4. Credits

Credits are prepaid, personal to your account, cannot be transferred and have no cash value. The cost of each job is shown and you confirm it before it starts. Credits are valid for 12 months from the date they are added to your account. Prices, when credits go on sale, will be shown in US dollars.

5. What you must not create

You must not use the Studio to create, request or upload:

6. Real people and likeness

Do not use the face, body or voice of a real person, or clone a voice, unless that person has clearly agreed. Do not impersonate anyone or make content that could damage their reputation. You are responsible for getting the consents you need.

7. Your uploads and your rights

You confirm that you own, or have all the rights and permissions needed for, everything you upload (images, audio, video, voice samples and text), and that it does not break the law or anyone’s rights. You give Rolling Now and our AI provider a limited licence to store and process your uploads and prompts only to run the Studio for you. You may use your results for your projects, including commercial work, subject to these terms, the AI provider’s own rules and the law. You are responsible for how you use them.

7a. Library items are public

When you save a result to the shared Library, the item becomes visible to every Rolling Now member straight away, with no approval step. Members can preview it, download its image, video or audio, copy its prompt and settings, and reuse them. Your name as shown on your profile (or “Community” if you have none) is displayed next to it; your email address is never shown. For items you save, we publish the prompt, the settings and the result file only: images or audio you uploaded as references, your private References, saved voices and subjects are not included. Your other results in “Your creations” stay private to you. You can edit or delete your own Library items at any time, which also deletes their files. Only save things you have the right to share. We may remove any Library item we consider inappropriate, and doing so may lead to the enforcement steps in section 8.

8. Safety checks and enforcement

Prompts and requests may be screened automatically, and we may review reports of misuse. If you break these rules we may refuse requests, pause your account, freeze your credits, delete content or ban you. For serious abuse, credits left on the account may be forfeited, and we may report the matter to the authorities. To report abuse or ask us to take something down, email hello@rollingnow.net.

9. Limits and availability

To keep the service fair, jobs share a limited number of generation slots, so you may sometimes have to wait or try again. Each account has a storage limit (currently 2 GB). We may change limits, models and features, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

10. Third parties

Your prompts and uploads are sent to our AI provider to create your results, and their own terms also apply. We are not responsible for the provider’s service or for links or tools outside Rolling Now.

11. Responsibility

The Studio is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or business losses, or for how you use results, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, or your legal rights as a consumer. You agree to cover our reasonable losses if your misuse of the Studio causes a claim against us.

12. Changes and ending

We may update these terms. When they change in a meaningful way, you will be asked to accept the new version before you continue. You can stop using the Studio at any time. We can end or restrict access if you break these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without removing the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.

Privacy notice

1. Who is responsible

Mehdi Bekkar, sole trader, trading as Rolling Now, is the controller of your personal data in the Studio. Contact: hello@rollingnow.net. This notice adds to the Rolling Now Privacy Policy.

2. What we collect

Library items you save are published to all members as described in the Terms (section 7a): your display name or “Community”, the prompt, the settings and the result file. Your email is not shown.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

To provide the Studio you ask for (contract); to keep it safe, prevent abuse and enforce these terms (our legitimate interests); and to keep accounting and legal records (legal obligation). We do not sell your data and do not use your prompts or files to advertise to you.

4. Who receives it

Our AI provider, Vidu (operated by Shengshu), receives your prompts, uploads and voice samples to generate your results, under its own terms. Our hosting provider stores the data for us. Card payments are handled by Stripe, and we will not see your full card number. Your data may be processed outside the UK and the EU, with appropriate safeguards where the law requires them.

5. How long we keep it

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR (and the EU GDPR if you live in the EU) you can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, restrict or object to some uses, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or your local authority. Email hello@rollingnow.net. You can delete your own creations in the Studio at any time.

Refund policy

1. Failed or refused jobs

If a job fails, is refused by the safety checks or the AI provider, or times out, the credits held for it are returned to your balance automatically. You do not need to ask.

2. Unused credits: 14 days for UK and EU consumers

If you live in the UK or the EU and buy credits as a consumer, you can cancel and get a refund of the credits you have not used within 14 days of the purchase. Email hello@rollingnow.net with your account email. By starting to use your credits within the 14 days you ask us to begin the service immediately, and the refund will then cover only the part you have not used.

3. What is not refunded

Credits that were used for a job that completed, change of mind on credits already used, credits that expired after 12 months, and credits forfeited because of abuse of the service.

4. Bans and freezes

If we freeze or close an account because these terms were broken, remaining credits may be withheld. A wrongly applied freeze will be lifted and credits restored.

5. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 14 days. Credits added manually by us are refunded in the same way. A chargeback or payment dispute can lead to suspension of the account while it is resolved. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
