Shooting schedule (stripboard)
Every scene in shooting order, grouped by day, with location, cast and page count, so the whole crew knows what is shot when. Includes planning notes for Fridays, prayer times, Ramadan and summer heat. The Excel file adds up pages and hours for each day.

Planning notes for the region
- Weekend: plan around Friday (and Saturday where it is part of the weekend). Confirm in advance whether crew, locations and suppliers work that day, and at what rate.
- Prayer times: check the local timetable for each shoot day and allow short breaks, especially for Friday midday prayer. Avoid recording sound near a mosque during the call to prayer.
- Ramadan: working days are usually shorter. Plan an earlier wrap or a night schedule, a proper break at iftar, and respect local rules on eating and drinking in public during the day.
- Heat: in the hot months, put exterior day scenes in the early morning and late afternoon, with shade, water and rest breaks. Check whether a summer midday ban on outdoor work applies where you shoot.
- Public holidays: mark Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha and national days. Locations, permit offices and suppliers may be closed, and dates can move with the moon sighting.
- Daylight: note sunrise, sunset and golden hour for each exterior day; dusk is short at these latitudes.
