- Young/emerging filmmakers from the German-speaking cultural sphere (films developed and made by directors working in that sphere; films from anywhere accepted if the team has that connection and the film is understandable to a German-speaking audience). Competitions: feature fiction (~70+ min), documentary (~70+ min), medium-length fiction (~25–70 min), short fiction (up to ~25 min); animation allowed. World or German premiere, from the last production year. Sidebar deadline (30 Sep) has passed.
