- Short films of 40 minutes or less, all genres, priority to films completed 2026–2027 and not freely online. Student films eligible. Sections: Official Competition (Oscar-qualifying Grand Prizes for world/North American/Canadian premieres), Focus Competition (incl. Americana for Latin American films, Short & Queer), Youth Competition, Indigenous Perspectives.
